Theatre Project

The Elsie & Norman Cross Theatre will be a valuable tool in educating students from local schools, Military personnel, Air Cadets from across the country, as well as community members, of the past, present, and future endeavours of the Air Force. Another opportunity for the theatre will be a location for special events for our community partners. The theatre will be a valuable asset in keeping the Museum legacy alive and vibrant and will play a significant role in assisting us in telling the story. It will occupy approximately 2,200 sq. ft., be barrier-free and will seat 125 people.

Support the Theatre

To realize the full potential of this project, we are asking for your support.   We believe that you, your family and friends will enjoy a rich experience in the films, presentations and special events that will be hosted year-round in the new Theatre.

We have successfully reached 50% of our goal of $800,000, but cannot proceed with the tendering of the project until all funds are pledged or in place.

All donors will be recognized on a donor wall, regardless of their commitment.  However, donors contributing $1,000 or more, will have the opportunity to have their name, or a name requested by the donor, placed on a plaque on a seat in the theatre - a wonderful Christmas present perhaps?

Your contribution will assist us in moving forward with this exciting project.  The Theatre/Education Centre will be a valuable asset in keeping the Museum legacy alive and vibrant and will play a significant role in telling the Air Force story.
